Canadian Museum of Immigration

The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax, Nova Scotia presents the story of immigration to Canada through beautifully designed multi-media exhibits, including audio recordings of interviews with immigrants. The museum continues to conduct oral history interviews, scan materials, collect stories, deliver educational workshops, and work with countless partners on book, film and research projects. The museum also provides reference services to anyone who visits, e-mails, calls or writes.

The museum is eager to hear from anyone with a story related to Canadian immigration. Personal experiences of immigration are an important learning resource–you can help the Museum grow by sharing yours. The museum is also evolving its onsite and online programming and creating new ways to share stories of immigration. You are invited to visit the museum and its website to experience these exciting new initiatives and more.
